Former United States President Donald Trump is enjoying the warm support from the crypto industry. At the ongoing Bitcoin Conference 2024, sources confirmed that the Donald Trump re-election campaign has raised about $30 million.

According to an update shared by Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett, sources at the conference hinted at a $30 million to $50 million range for the funds raised thus far. The target is $100 million which they claim is achievable by November.

The pro-Bitcoin stance of Donald Trump has earned him the favor he has secured thus far. While he is vying for the Presidency in a race contested by another Bitcoin advocate Robert F. Kennedy Jr, he seems the most favored by top donors in the industry.
Trump is billed to speak this evening at the ongoing Bitcoin Conference and the entire crypto industry is quite expectant.
Moreso, it could boost sentiment for the fundraiser and the cryptocurrency ecosystem. Markedly, he could even hit the target of $100 million tonight, depending on how much his speech resonates with his listeners. Other keynote speakers at the conference are independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr, Cathie Wood of ARK Investment, Michael Saylor of MicroStrategy, Edward Snowden, and Benjamin Cowen among others.
Bitcoin And Altcoins Signal Bull Sentiment
It is worth noting that Bitcoin has faced the upsurge since the Bitcoin Conference began on July 25. This underscores the traction that the flagship cryptocurrency is receiving as a result of the annual event. In light of the progress that Trump has made in terms of his fundraiser, Bitcoin has remained in the ‘green’.
At press time, BTC price stood at $68,713.41 with a 24 hours increase of 1.75%. Altcoins are not doing bad at all with Ethereum 0.3% ahead of its previous position as of 24 hours ago. The coin is trading at $3,264.83. Solana (SOL), Dogecoin (DOGE) and XRP have also recorded slight price jump respectively.
With the big speech coming tonight, expectations are that these cryptocurrencies might sustain their respective rallies.
